Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, supporting activities of daily living with dignity
Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility and toileting while promoting independence
Take and record vital signs and report changes in condition promptly to the nursing team
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control protocols
Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families and interdisciplinary staff
Document care accurately and timely in the facility’s records
Support patient transfers and device use while following proper body mechanics and safety procedures

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
Active/state-appropriate CNA license or ability to obtain licensure for New Mexico
Comfort working overnight shifts and supporting a diverse resident population
Strong communication and teamwork skills; reliability and compassion
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain if required by facility

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on resident care and activities of daily living
Basic vital signs measurement and monitoring
Infection control and safe patient handling
Accurate documentation and basic charting practices
Effective, compassionate communication with residents and care teams
Ability to follow care plans and escalate concerns appropriately
