Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients as a Certified Nursing Assistant
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding) with dignity and respect
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes in condition to the nursing team
• Support safe patient transfers and mobility, following established protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and observations
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver consistent, high-quality care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• Active/state CNA registration or eligibility to register in New Mexico
• Comfort providing direct patient care during overnight/night shifts
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Prior experience in long-term care or similar settings preferred

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamentals of patient care and safety practices
• Ability to measure and record vital signs accurately
• Infection control and standard precautions knowledge
• Reliable time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
• Compassionate communication with patients, families and team members
