Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Night shift, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM (overnight) — 30 minute meal break; specific days not provided

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
Assist with safe transfers and mobility support using proper body mechanics
Monitor and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Support feeding and nutritional needs, observing dietary guidelines and resident preferences
Document resident care clearly and timely in the charting system
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team to deliver personalized care plans
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures

Qualifications

Current, active CNA certification in the state of practice
CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain promptly)
Ability to pass standard background checks and required health screenings
Comfort working overnight hours and supporting an active care setting
Strong communication skills and a caring attitude toward residents

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed state-approved CNA training program and certification

Knowledge & Skills

Basic knowledge of vital signs, ADLs (activities of daily living), and patient safety
Skilled at safe resident transfers and mobility assistance
Familiarity with infection control best practices
Competence in documenting care and communicating changes to nursing staff
Customer-service mindset when interacting with residents and families
