Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to patients including assistance with activities of daily living
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
• Help with safe patient transfers, ambulation, and positioning
• Perform routine documentation and charting accurately and on time
• Support infection control and maintain a clean, safe environment for patients
• Collaborate with RNs, LPNs, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver excellent care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
• Comfortable working a 12-hour night shift schedule (6:30 PM - 6:30 AM)
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients, families, and team members
• Willingness to comply with facility onboarding requirements (background check, immunizations, drug screening) as applicable

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient-centered care and respect for dignity and privacy
• Basic vital signs monitoring and observation skills
• Assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting)
• Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Accurate documentation and time management
• Teamwork and clear verbal communication
