Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients, supporting activities of daily living (ADLs)
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding and toileting while preserving dignity
Take and accurately record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
Document care in the patient record with attention to detail and timeliness
Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
Maintain infection control standards and support a clean, safe environment

Qualifications

Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Current state registry if required by New Mexico regulations
Comfortable working 12+ hour day shifts (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM)
Strong communication skills, compassion, and attention to detail
Willingness to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care fundamentals and assistance with ADLs
Taking and documenting vital signs accurately
Basic infection control and safety practices
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Clear documentation and effective team communication
