Shift Type: Days not specified, 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM NOC (12-hour night shift)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Monitor and document vital signs, patient status, and changes in condition accurately
Assist nursing staff with safe transfers, positioning, and mobility support
Support a clean, safe environment by following infection control and facility protocols
Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — required or active enrollment with clear plan to complete
CPR/BLS certification preferred or ability to obtain upon hire
Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts and handling typical clinical duties
Strong communication skills and a team-focused, compassionate approach
Previous CNA experience preferred but caring attitude and willingness to learn are highly valued

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
CNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and ADLs (bathing, feeding, toileting, ambulation)
Taking and recording vital signs accurately
Charting and documentation best practices
Infection prevention and control procedures
Safe transfer techniques and use of assistive devices
Teamwork, time management, and clear patient-centered communication
