Shift Type: Days not specified, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Day shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $16 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs accurately and promptly
Assist nursing team with turning, transfers and mobility support
Maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for residents
Communicate changes in resident condition to the nursing staff clearly and timely
Document care activities in accordance with facility policies

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Active state nursing aide registry status for North Carolina
Reliable, patient-focused attitude with strong communication skills
Basic Life Support or CPR certification preferred
Previous experience in long-term care or similar setting is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an approved CNA training program required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing care principles and infection control
Ability to measure and record vital signs and report observations
Strong interpersonal skills for working with residents and families
Time management and the ability to work effectively within a care team
Familiarity with charting and basic resident documentation
