Location: Garrison, ND

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour day/night shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), including every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department and MedSurg Swing unit.
Manage patient ratios of 1:4 in acute, 1:6 in swing bed, and 1:4 in ED.
Titrate drips as required, monitor telemetry strips for ED patients.
Float to ED holds as needed and assume charge nurse duties when required.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Dakota or compact state
Minimum of one year of MedSurg experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of emergency department and med-surg nursing practices
Telemetry and ECG interpretation skills
Ability to titrate IV medications confidently
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
