Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $79 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in a medical unit setting
Conduct thorough assessments, monitor vital signs, and document patient progress
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans
Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for optimal recovery
Adapt to training needs and float between areas as required

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a medical unit or acute care setting
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to adapt to training and unit needs

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills (RNASM, RNDOC)
Proficient in electronic medical records and nursing care delivery (RNNC)
Effective communication (COMM) and English proficiency (ENG)
Core nursing competencies (CORE) and professional demeanor (MCHAR)
Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
