Location: Falmouth, Maine

Start Date: 06-29-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 35

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide skilled physical therapy interventions to improve patient mobility and quality of life
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans under the guidance of a licensed physical therapist
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
Document patient progress accurately and timely in compliance with facility standards

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in Maine
Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program
CPR certification (BLS) preferred
Comfortable working with geriatric populations in a skilled nursing setting

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and patient needs
Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
