Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging exams accurately and efficiently, following established protocols
• Prepare patients for procedures with clear, compassionate communication and safety checks
• Verify patient identification, review clinical history, and confirm exam orders
• Operate CT equipment while adhering to radiation safety and infection control practices
• Maintain complete and accurate records, including documentation of exams and results
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care
• Complete required competency checklists, specialty exams, and skills validations
• Adhere to organizational policies for vaccinations, screening, and safety attestations

Qualifications

• CT Certificate (AART) — required
• Current BLS certification
• Driver's License with picture ID as required for facility paperwork
• Ability to pass background check, drug test, and required health screenings
• Documentation of Tuberculosis test, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccine or declination
• License/Certificate verification and agency paperwork (resume/application, attestation)
• Certificate of Liability Insurance as requested by the agency
• Completion of Prime Core Competencies Exam, Prime Skills Checklist, and Prime Specialty Exam if applicable

Education

• CT Certificate (AART) (required)
• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program or equivalent experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols, cross-sectional anatomy, and radiation safety
• Familiarity with infection control practices and vaccination compliance
• Comfortable performing and documenting competency exams and skills checklists
• Good patient positioning and communication skills, including working with diverse populations
• Ability to follow safety screening (TB, drug screening, fit/color-blind tests) and health documentation
• Proficient with clinical documentation and following facility-specific workflows
• Teamwork, adaptability, and a patient-first mindset
