Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures including LHC, RHC and PCI
• Assist with advanced support devices and procedures such as Impella, IABP and PPM cases
• Provide ventilator support when required and assist in patient respiratory management
• Operate and maintain GE imaging equipment and ensure quality imaging support for procedures
• Document procedures, patient care and media in Meditech accurately and timely
• Set up and maintain sterile field, prepare procedural equipment and troubleshoot devices
• Continuously monitor patient hemodynamics and respond to changes in clinical status
• Collaborate closely with RNs and multidisciplinary team members for safe, efficient care
• Participate in on-call rotations and assist the team with emergent cases when needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience (explicit requirement)
• Hands-on experience with Impella, IABP and ventilator management (must have)
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR and GE imaging equipment
• Preferred experience: vascular/peripheral intervention and EP exposure
• Independent, accountable attitude and a strong team-player mindset

Knowledge & Skills

• Cardiac cath lab procedures and workflow
• Impella and IABP device knowledge
• Ventilator basics and peri-procedural respiratory support
• Meditech electronic medical record usage
• GE imaging system operation
• Vascular/peripheral intervention and EP fundamentals (preferred)
• Sterile technique, equipment setup and procedural troubleshooting
• Patient monitoring, hemodynamics and rapid clinical assessment
• Clear communication and teamwork in high-acuity settings
