Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic evaluations and individualized occupational therapy treatment to help patients reach their highest level of function
• Design and administer treatment programs using therapeutic exercises and activities to improve strength, range of motion, and fine motor coordination
• Instruct patients and families in ADL techniques and adaptive equipment for meal preparation, dressing, feeding, and home management
• Perform home assessments and recommend environmental or equipment modifications to maximize independence and safety
• Develop and document patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner
• Deliver sensorimotor integration, visual perceptual-motor remediation, prosthetic and prevocational training as appropriate
• Collaborate with schools, nursing homes, visiting nurse associations, and hospitals to coordinate care and provide consultative expertise
• Participate in department quality improvement activities and maintain compliance with regulatory and organizational standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy required
• Current valid Washington State Occupational Therapist license (or actively in process of obtaining) required
• One year of OT experience preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply
• Ability to complete mandatory education and maintain regulatory requirements
• Professional appearance and reliable attendance; ability to check and respond to work email at least once per shift
• Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and community partners

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy
