Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform CT and radiographic procedures by following prescribed techniques and adjusting equipment settings for safe, high-quality imaging
• Prepare rooms, position patients, and set up immobilization/support devices to ensure accurate and comfortable imaging sessions
• Administer contrast material and assist with preparation of supplies and equipment as needed
• Maintain and perform basic diagnostic testing and general maintenance on imaging equipment
• Complete daily cleaning of x-ray rooms and equipment and follow radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure
• Carry out quality control tasks and maintain required QC reports for procedures performed
• Handle general office duties such as scheduling, answering phones, and filing to support smooth department operations
• Respond to call assignments and provide dependable coverage when needed

Qualifications

• Completion of formal radiological technologist training in an AMA-approved program
• ARRT registration required
• CT certification required; minimum of 6 months experience in Computerized Tomography
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• MRI certification preferred but not required
• Willingness to relocate to a rural area (candidate must be willing to relocate)

• Formal radiological technologist training from an AMA-approved program

• Computed Tomography (CT) expertise and radiography fundamentals
• Radiation protection and safety practices
• Patient positioning and patient-centered care
• Contrast administration and preparation
• Quality control procedures and equipment maintenance
• Scheduling, office duties, and strong communication skills
