Location: Mount Olive, NC
Contract Type: Perm
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Day), 35 hours/week, No weekend rotation
Hours per Week: 35
Candidate Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on therapeutic care and assist patients with therapeutic exercises and mobility training
- Implement individualized treatment plans under the direction of the Physical Therapist
- Monitor patient progress and report findings to the supervising therapist to optimize outcomes
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic health record
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety techniques
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
Qualifications
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program (typical requirement)
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a PTA in North Carolina
- Current CPR/BLS certification or willing to obtain
- Strong patient care skills with a compassionate, team-oriented approach
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Previous experience in outpatient, inpatient rehabilitation, or skilled nursing preferred
Education
- Associate Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant or related accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and modalities used in rehabilitation
- Proficiency with patient assessment, safety techniques, and fall prevention
- Comfortable with documentation and basic computer skills for electronic health records
- Ability to follow care plans and adapt interventions to patient needs
- Strong teamwork, time management, and interpersonal skills
