Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, direct patient care as a Licensed Practical Nurse on the unit
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
• Monitor patient status, report changes to the care team, and escalate when needed
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and support staff to ensure coordinated care
• Maintain clear, timely charting and handoffs for continuity of care
• Support a positive patient and family experience through clear communication and empathy

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) — current and valid New Mexico LPN license required
• Comfortable working 12+ hour day shifts with strong stamina and attention to detail
• Ability to pass facility onboarding and background checks
• Preferred: Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN credential)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid fundamentals in medication administration and basic clinical assessments
• Clear, concise documentation and charting skills
• Strong communication and teamwork on fast-paced units
• Infection control practices and safe patient handling
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time during long shifts
