Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care within your scope (LPN or RN)
• Perform thorough assessments and communicate changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Document patient care clearly and timely in the electronic record
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create and update care plans
• Support patients and families with education, reassurance, and resource guidance
• Maintain infection control and safety standards on every shift

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license (eligible or active) for New Mexico — must meet state requirements
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain upon hire)
• Basic familiarity with medication administration, IV care (as applicable), and documentation
• Ability to work independently on per diem assignments and integrate quickly with unit teams
• Prefer candidates with prior acute care or rehabilitation experience, but new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (LPN diploma or RN ADN/BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and monitoring skills
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and team members
• Accurate medication administration and documentation practices
• Time management and ability to prioritize in a busy clinical environment
• Comfortable using electronic medical records and following policy/procedures
