Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide excellent direct patient care with compassion and attention to detail
- Administer medications and treatments according to facility policies and provider orders
- Monitor patient status, document changes, and communicate concerns to the care team
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to support timely, safe patient care
- Support discharge planning and patient education to promote recovery and wellbeing
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license (Class lists LPN and RN applicants)
- Ability to work per diem night shifts (6:00 PM to 6:30 AM) as scheduled
- Current, unrestricted nursing license in the state of New Mexico or eligible to obtain one
- Professional communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Education
- Completion of an accredited LPN or RN nursing program (as applicable to your licensure)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient assessment and clinical observation skills
- Comfortable with medication administration and basic clinical procedures
- Clinical documentation and charting accuracy
- Team collaboration, clear communication, and patient-centered care
