Contract Type: Perm
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Day; weekend rotation)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $38 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients thoroughly to develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve function and mobility
- Provide hands-on/manual therapy and supervise therapeutic exercise programs
- Document patient progress accurately and communicate updates with the care team
- Educate patients and families to promote independence and safe home programs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate high-quality care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain clinical best practices
Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist in Maine or eligible for Maine licensure
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; related PT degree accepted
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Strong clinical assessment and manual therapy skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills; patient-centered approach
- Previous experience in a similar setting preferred but new grads with strong clinical skills are encouraged to apply
Education
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred
- Bachelor's or Master's in Physical Therapy accepted where applicable
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular rehabilitation
- Proficiency in therapeutic modalities, gait training, and assistive device training
- Skilled in clinical documentation and outcome measurement
- Ability to create clear, progressive home exercise programs
- Strong interpersonal skills for patient and family education
