Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents, supporting comfort and dignity
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing and mobility
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
• Perform routine tasks like vital signs, feeding assistance and documentation
• Collaborate with the care team to carry out individualized care plans
• Maintain a clean, safe environment while following infection control practices

Qualifications

• Active LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) certification
• Current basic life support (BLS) certification preferred or obtainable
• Ability to provide hands-on resident care with empathy and professionalism
• Comfortable with documentation and following care plans
• State authorization to work in NH and/or VT (as indicated by job title)
• Background check and health screening clearance as required by facility

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient-handling and bedside care skills
• Familiarity with long-term care or skilled nursing workflows
• Good communication and teamwork skills with residents and staff
• Attention to detail for accurate charting and reporting
• Basic infection prevention and safety practices
• Adaptability in a busy care environment and a positive attitude
