Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate bedside care to assigned patients during night shifts
• Administer medications and follow physician orders accurately and timely
• Monitor patients’ conditions, document changes, and communicate concerns to the care team
• Perform routine assessments, treatments, and wound care as required
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and support staff to coordinate excellent patient care
• Maintain clear, accurate charting in the facility’s electronic medical record
• Support safe patient transfers and admissions/discharges during your shift

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing (LPN classification indicated)
• Comfort working night shift hours (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM) on a per-diem basis
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
• Ability to pass required background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN diploma or equivalent)
• Continuing education and skill refreshers encouraged

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and vital signs monitoring
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
• Comfortable with EMR charting and clinical documentation
• Teamwork, clinical prioritization, and time management during busy night shifts
• Basic wound care and routine nursing procedures
