Location: Albuquerque, NM
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem schedule, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM NOC (night shift; days vary)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to patients including bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Assist with safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
- Support meal assistance and document intake as directed
- Maintain a clean, safe patient environment following infection control practices
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure patients receive respectful, dignified care
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (New Mexico) required
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Previous patient care experience preferred; we welcome new CNAs ready to learn
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a state-approved Nurse Aide training program and CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid understanding of activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic patient care
- Infection control and hand hygiene best practices
- Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
- Basic charting and documentation skills
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
