Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on the unit
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
• Perform ongoing patient assessments and report changes to the care team
• Assist with rehabilitative activities and promote patient mobility
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to coordinate care plans
• Maintain clear, timely documentation and follow facility policies

Qualifications

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse license for New Mexico
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
• Comfortable working overnight 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM shifts
• Previous experience in rehab or acute care preferred
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused mindset
• Ability to pass required background checks and comply with facility onboarding

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN) or Nursing program (RN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and vital signs monitoring
• Safe medication administration and documentation
• Skill supporting rehabilitation programs and mobility
• Wound care basics and infection prevention
• Effective communication with patients, families, and team members
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced setting
