Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients during night shifts
- Administer medications and follow established care plans accurately
- Monitor and document patient status, vital signs, and clinical changes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergent situations with calm professionalism
- Maintain clear, timely clinical documentation and handoffs for continuity of care
Qualifications
- Current LPN or RN license in good standing (New Mexico license preferred)
- Previous clinical experience in acute care, rehab, or related nursing setting a plus
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required or willing to obtain
- Comfortable working 12+ hour overnight shifts and handling varied patient needs
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
Education
- Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing or Registered Nursing program
Knowledge & Skills
- Fundamental nursing assessment and patient monitoring skills
- Medication administration and safe documentation practices
- Familiarity with clinical workflows and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced overnight environment
- Professionalism, attention to detail, and reliable clinical judgment
