Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients, assisting with daily living activities
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
- Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and safe positioning to promote comfort
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments and adhere to infection control practices
- Document patient care activities thoroughly and communicate effectively with staff
- Support patient dignity and independence while offering emotional support to families
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Comfortable working 12+ hour day shifts and adapting to per-diem schedules
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first attitude
- Previous experience in a long-term care, rehab, or acute setting is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Current CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient care fundamentals: ADLs, bathing, feeding, toileting, and mobility assistance
- Basic clinical skills such as taking vitals and observing changes in condition
- Safe transfer techniques and understanding of patient handling best practices
- Accurate documentation and attention to detail
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to connect with patients and families
