Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the care team
• Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
• Maintain a clean, comfortable environment and follow infection control practices
• Communicate clearly with nurses, families, and team members to advocate for residents
• Document resident care in charts or electronic records in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in good standing (required)
• BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Previous experience as a CNA or in direct patient care is a plus
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, team-oriented attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an approved CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with ADLs: bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding
• Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs
• Familiarity with basic infection control and safety procedures
• Good observation skills to notice and report changes in condition
• Team collaboration and clear documentation practices
