Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic cardiovascular procedures with accuracy and compassion
• Prepare patients and maintain a safe, sterile environment for testing
• Operate and maintain cardiovascular equipment and ensure quality control
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the clinical team to support patient care
• Document findings clearly and communicate results to the care team in a timely way
• Participate in continuous quality improvement and maintain required competencies

Qualifications

• Current CVT certification or relevant credential (state-required certification as applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; advanced certifications encouraged
• 1+ years of clinical experience in cardiovascular diagnostics or a related setting preferred
• Current state licensure as required by the assignment
• Strong patient communication skills and a professional bedside manner

Education

• Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or related allied health field, or equivalent clinical experience

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in cardiovascular testing modalities and equipment operation
• Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and common diagnostic procedures
• Skilled in patient preparation, monitoring, and safety protocols
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and maintain quality control records
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment with multidisciplinary teams
• Good documentation skills and familiarity with electronic health records
