Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents including bathing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with activities of daily living to maintain independence and dignity
• Monitor and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to the nursing team
• Support safe mobility and transfers while following facility protocols
• Maintain clear, timely documentation in the resident chart and communicate with interdisciplinary team members
• Follow infection control and safety procedures to protect residents and staff
• Contribute to a positive resident experience through empathy, patience, and respectful communication

Qualifications

• Active LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) certification (VT/NH as indicated)
• Local candidates only (position listed as LOCAL ONLY)
• Ability to work night shift hours (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
• Must have own RTO and all RTOs must be approved prior to finalizing contract (per facility note)
• Comfortable working in long-term care or similar clinical setting and collaborating with nursing staff

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience with ADLs, transfers, and resident hygiene
• Accurate vital signs measurement and basic clinical observation
• Good charting and documentation habits; familiarity with electronic medical records a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with residents and team members
• Infection prevention, resident safety, and basic emergency response knowledge
• Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs during a shift
