Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents: assist with activities of daily living like bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Take and accurately document vital signs and patient observations
- Support safe mobility and transfers while maintaining dignity and comfort
- Communicate meaningful changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation in resident records
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and coworkers
- Be a dependable team player who helps create a calm, respectful environment for recovery
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential valid in Vermont
- Reliable transportation (LOCAL ONLY position — facility requires you to commute)
- Availability to work nights and every other weekend as required
- Comfortable working a 16-week local contract assignment (02/09/2026 - 05/25/2026)
- Positive attitude, dependability, and a patient-first mindset
Education
- Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant (LNA) program or equivalent
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Comfort with personal care tasks and assisting with activities of daily living
- Proficient in taking and recording vital signs and observing patient status
- Strong verbal communication and teamwork skills
- Basic knowledge of infection prevention and safe patient handling
- Reliable documentation practices and attention to detail
- Time management skills for an active night-shift environment
