Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility while preserving dignity
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ conditions to the nursing team promptly
• Support safe transfers and positioning to prevent falls and pressure injuries
• Document care accurately and maintain clear communication with nurses and family
• Help create a warm, respectful environment that promotes resident comfort and engagement
• Participate in care planning and follow individualized care instructions closely

Qualifications

• Active CNA or T-CNA certification (required)
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Comfortable working 12+ hour day shifts and providing hands-on resident care
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with residents, families and staff
• Dependable, compassionate team player who follows facility policies and safety protocols

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and safe transfer techniques
• Basic charting and documentation skills
• Infection control practices and adherence to PPE guidelines
• Strong observational skills and ability to report clinical changes
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with residents
