Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient conditions with compassion and clinical precision
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document them accurately
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transitions
• Perform timely and thorough documentation in the electronic health record
• Provide patient and family education to support recovery and discharge goals
• Respond to emergencies and changes in condition with calm, competent action
• Advocate for patient needs while maintaining regulatory and facility standards

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license (meet state requirements for practice)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced certifications such as ACLS or PALS are a plus
• Clinical experience in acute care settings preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and teamwork mindset
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a travel assignment schedule

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage a fast-paced workload
• Clear communication with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams
• Basic knowledge of safety, infection control and regulatory standards
