Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist cardiology physicians during catheterization procedures, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency
- Prepare and maintain cath lab equipment and sterile fields before and after cases
- Monitor patients during procedures and communicate changes promptly to the clinical team
- Operate imaging equipment and document procedural details accurately in the patient record
- Respond to on-call requests in a timely, professional manner and support emergent cases as needed
- Collaborate with nurses, technologists, and providers to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality care
Qualifications
- ARRT Certified prior to the start of the contract (mandatory)
- Experience as a Cath Lab Tech or similar interventional cardiology role preferred
- Ability to accept frequent on-call shifts and work consecutive weekends as required
- Reliable clinical judgment, strong communication skills, and teamwork mindset
Knowledge & Skills
- Familiarity with catheterization lab equipment and sterile technique
- Basic understanding of cardiac anatomy and hemodynamics
- Strong patient monitoring and safety awareness
- Clear, timely documentation and effective communication with multidisciplinary teams
- Comfortable responding to emergent situations and on-call demands
