Shift Type: Flexible PRN schedule (open availability); Night shift, 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM (overnight)
Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents — assist with bathing, dressing, feeding and other activities of daily living
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and equipment
- Document care timely and clearly to support continuity and quality of care
- Support infection control and safety protocols to keep residents and staff protected
- Communicate effectively with nurses, therapists and family members to advocate for residents’ needs
- Help create a warm, respectful environment that promotes dignity and independence
- Respond calmly and promptly during resident needs or emergencies
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — T‑CNA listed as a plus
- Active CNA authorization in New Mexico or ability to obtain state authorization
- Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred (PRN/Per diem experience a plus)
- Flexible availability and willingness to pick up varied shifts, including overnights
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Basic immunizations and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an approved CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs and personal care
- Knowledge of basic infection control and safety procedures
- Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
- Good observational skills to notice and report subtle changes in resident condition
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well within a care team
- Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
- Respectful, patient-centered approach to resident care
