Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Self-scheduling, typical shifts 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with call requirements one weekday per month and one weekend (Fri-Sun) per month, plus holidays as per contract.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $52 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist in a variety of surgical procedures including open heart, vascular, thoracic, general, neuro, spine, robotics, and ortho surgeries.
Prepare and maintain the sterile field, ensuring all instruments and supplies are ready for each procedure.
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Monitor and manage surgical instruments and equipment, troubleshooting as needed.
Participate in call coverage, including one weekday per month and one weekend per month.

Qualifications

Current Colorado DORA certification (required).
Current BLS certification (required).
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) (required).
Experience in open heart and endovascular surgery is a must.
Ability to float to general OR as needed.

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of sterile technique and operating room protocols.
Proficient in a wide range of surgical specialties including CVOR.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes.
