Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to laboring mothers and their newborns in a rural LDRP setting
Monitor fetal heart tracings using OB Trace Vue and respond to changes
Administer titratable drips such as Magnesium and Oxytocin during antepartum and labor
Assist with postpartum care including medication administration and patient education
Collaborate with surgical team during C-sections, focusing on newborn care
Float to MSP/ED as needed for 1:1 patient sitting or assisting hands
Support neonatal patients requiring CPAP, BiPAP, or high flow oxygen

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience required
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (must be current)
Ability to pass fit testing for N95 masks (no facial hair if unable to pass Portacount)
Comfort working independently in a rural hospital with limited NICU access

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in fetal monitoring and interpretation
Experience with titratable drips (Magnesium, Oxytocin, etc.)
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to handle emergency situations calmly
Basic neonatal resuscitation and equipment knowledge
