Shift Type: Night shifts, 8-16 hour shifts, schedule varies; must be flexible

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and monitor critically ill trauma patients with complex injuries
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
Provide compassionate support to patients and their families during recovery
Respond swiftly to emergencies and stabilize patients in high-acuity situations
Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the healthcare team

Qualifications

Active RN license in Georgia or compact state
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in trauma or surgery nursing
BLS certification required (AHA)
ACLS certification preferred
EPIC proficiency required
Willingness to work flexible night shifts and adapt to unit needs

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in trauma nursing and managing high-acuity patients
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in EPIC electronic health records
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
