Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures to ensure smooth patient care
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment areas
- Take and record vital signs and patient medical histories
- Provide patients with post-operative instructions and comfort
- Maintain infection control standards and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Dental Assistant certification or license in Maryland (if required)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience in a dental office setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
- Proficient in dental software for scheduling and charting
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
