Roles & Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the insurance AR team, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and task delegation.
- Manage Accounts Receivable for all insurance AR in Epic HB and PB modules to minimize financial losses and ensure compliance with payor rules.
- Monitor and report on AR performance for large payers, physician practices, and vendors, escalating issues as needed.
- Conduct monthly rounding with direct reports to foster engagement and continuous improvement.
- Review quality assurance results and provide education to staff for improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field (or equivalent experience: High School diploma with 8 years or Associate's with 4 years of progressive leadership experience).
- 5 years in patient accounting, third-party reimbursement, or related field, including at least 3 years in a supervisor or leadership role.
Education
- Bachelor Degree in Business or related field. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, a High School Diploma or GED with eight (8) years of Revenue Cycle Progressive leadership experience (or four years for a verified associate's degree).
