Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide specialized wound, ostomy, and continence care based on established care plans
Serve as a resource and consultant to patients and nursing staff
Perform comprehensive patient assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation
Collaborate with the Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurse (WOCN) to adjust care plans
Treat acute and chronic wounds caused by diabetes, surgery, injury, or poor blood flow
Support adjunctive therapies including hyperbaric medicine and vein care

Qualifications

Active, unencumbered Oregon RN license (must be current upon submission)
Healthcare Provider level BLS certification required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Wound Care certification (e.g., CWOCN) preferred
At least 6 months of wound care experience, outpatient clinic experience a plus

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in wound care, ostomy care, and continence management
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Proficiency with EMR systems (Point Click preferred)
Knowledge of wound healing principles and evidence-based practices
