Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings and prophylaxis to maintain oral health
- Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Assist dentist during procedures and examinations
- Document patient care and update medical histories
Qualifications
- Active Virginia Dental Hygiene License required
- Graduate from an accredited dental hygiene program
- CPR certification preferred
- Strong communication and patient care skills
Education
- Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in dental instruments and sterilization techniques
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Time management and organizational skills
