Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shift, flexible 8-, 10-, or 16-hour shifts; schedule details provided upon offer.

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to neuro ICU and stepdown patients
Monitor critical neurologic status and manage complex patient needs
Float between ICU and stepdown units as needed, maintaining high standards of care
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Administer medications, perform assessments, and respond to emergencies

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent neuro ICU or stepdown experience required
Active Georgia RN license or compact license eligible
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Strong neuro assessment skills and ability to manage patient ratios of 1:2 (ICU) and 3:4 (stepdown)
Willingness to float between units and adapt to changing patient needs

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in neuro critical care and stepdown nursing
Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, ventilator management, and neuro assessments
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
