Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Start Date: 08-03-2026

End Date: 10-31-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shifts, 36 hours per week guaranteed, various 8-16 hour shifts including call, weekends, and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $40 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert surgical assistance in the operating room as a Certified Surgical Technician
Prepare and maintain sterile fields and surgical equipment for a variety of procedures
Anticipate the needs of surgeons and ensure smooth operation during trauma and other complex surgeries
Participate in on-call rotations to support emergency surgeries as needed
Collaborate with the surgical team to uphold highest standards of patient safety and care

Qualifications

Active Certified Surgical Technician (CST) certification
Minimum 1-2 years of operating room experience required
Level 1 Trauma experience is a must
Previous travel experience preferred
Willingness to take call, work weekends, and holidays
Burn experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Expert knowledge of sterile technique and infection control
Familiarity with trauma surgery protocols and equipment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and teams
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
