Location: Lanham, Maryland
Start Date: 07-19-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Day shift, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (specific shift dates available)
Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to elderly residents in a rehabilitation setting
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and eating
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Support mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for residents
- Collaborate with the care team to deliver high-quality patient-centered care
Qualifications
- Active GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) certification in Maryland
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to the facility
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a state-approved GNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills for documentation
- Physical ability to lift and assist patients
