Roles & Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and oral health assessments
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care techniques
Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
Document patient care and maintain accurate records
Assist the dentist during procedures to ensure smooth workflow

Qualifications

Active Dental Hygienist license in New York State
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Previous experience in a dental practice preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in dental hygiene instruments and techniques
Knowledge of infection control protocols
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to educate and motivate patients toward better oral health
Familiarity with dental software and record-keeping
