Shift Type: Day shifts, 36 hours per week; schedule determined by unit needs

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide specialized care to neuroscience patients in the ICU and stepdown units
Monitor and manage complex neurological conditions and interventions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Administer medications, titrate drips, and perform advanced assessments
Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment, and recovery
Float between ICU and IMCU as needed to support unit staffing

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent neuro ICU/IMCU experience required
Active RN license in Georgia or compact state (NLC)
Current BLS and NIHSS certifications
Strong neuro assessment and critical thinking skills
Willingness to float between ICU and stepdown settings

Knowledge & Skills

In-depth knowledge of neuro critical care and stroke management
Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and ventilator management
Skilled in IV therapy and medication administration
Excellent communication and patient education abilities
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
