Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shifts, flexible scheduling with 8, 10, or 16-hour options, including rotating weekends as needed

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert nursing care to neuro ICU and IMCU patients, monitoring critical conditions and responding swiftly
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
Float between ICU and stepdown units, adapting to varying patient acuities
Maintain detailed patient records and communicate effectively with families
Uphold the highest standards of safety and quality in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent neuro ICU/IMCU experience required
Active Georgia RN license or compact license accepted
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Strong neuro assessment skills and ability to manage complex patients
Willingness to float between units as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in neuro ICU care, including stroke and traumatic brain injury management
Proficiency in ventilator management, IV therapy, and critical care monitoring
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
