Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 12-hour shifts (exact times to be determined by facility)

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert nursing care to neuroscience ICU and stepdown patients
Monitor and manage critically ill patients with neurological conditions
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
Float between ICU and stepdown units as needed, maintaining high standards of care
Utilize advanced assessment skills to detect changes in patient condition
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery expectations

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Neuro ICU or IMCU
Active RN license in Georgia or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
Strong neuro assessment skills required
Willingness to float between ICU and stepdown units

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in neurological assessments and interventions
Experience with ventilators, IV pumps, and monitoring equipment
Ability to manage high-acuity patients and rapid changes
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Adaptability to different unit environments
