Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care including cleanings and scaling
- Educate patients on oral health and preventive care
- Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
- Assist the dentist during procedures when required
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
- Current CPR certification
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
- Understanding of infection control protocols
- Proficient with dental software and record-keeping
