Physical Therapy Assistant - Days
Location: Newport, OR
Start Date: 07-10-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $41 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Administer physical therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
- Provide technical support for effective and efficient delivery of therapy services
- Help patients regain mobility, strength, and independence
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary rehab team to achieve patient goals
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Qualifications
- Current unencumbered Oregon Physical Therapist Assistant license
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification
- At least 1 year of experience as a PTA
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and modalities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) like Point Click
