Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and prophylaxis
- Assess patients' oral health and identify potential issues
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
- Document patient care and maintain accurate records
- Assist dentist during procedures when required
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
- Current CPR certification
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
Knowledge & Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
